Dana Alshihaby ¦ Vinterjazz in Union

Dana Alshihaby will be stopping by Union on 20 February to fill the house with beautiful Arabic quarter tones mixed with Western jazz tones. Inspired by her own culture, Dana Alshihaby mixes languages ​​and music genres, and builds bridges between people and cultures. You will experience Dana Alshihaby together with the duo Bilal Irshed and Rasmus Møldrup, who are old acquaintances at Union, where they have played several times. On oud and double bass, respectively, they will help interpret a carefully selected collection of classic Arabic songs in completely new versions.

Vinterjazz in Union

The concert program in Union is part of the nationwide music festival Vinterjazz on 30 January - 23 February 2025.
