Klang 2026: Adomas Palekas: Rehydration

Where water meets circuit, sound comes alive.

Adomas Palekas performs on his own creation, ‘Aerials’: bare electronic circuits and exposed components wired together without casing or board. As a drop of water lands upon a node, organic and inorganic matter dissolves, seeping into the pores and cavities of the circuit, and bridging molecular, electric and sonic bonds. Within the interface of a drop, life emerges. Like living organisms, their boundaries do not end at their own surface. Temperature, humidity, microbial life and gravity all shape their sound as it oscillates: fragile, vulnerable and exposed.
