Munay

Munay is an Argentine Folkloric Music Group formed by musicians and dancers from Argentina, currently residing in Denmark and Sweden. The project aims to showcase Argentina’s rich musical tradition, bringing the sounds and movements of this land; sharing rhythms, melodies, and dances that tell stories and depict the sonic landscapes of all Argentina's cultural regions.

The passion for music and love for our roots create a unique experience that invites the audience to travel with us through the sounds, deep into the heart of Argentine Folkloric culture.

Dancing is an inseparable part of Argentine folk music, as is it from our encounters. For this special occasion we will bring the audience close to the "chacarera", a very energetic dance. You will be able to learn the basic steps to join us from the dance floor and get fun! Munay is not just something you watch... it's something you live! 

Sebastián Piracés-Ugarte

Sebastián Piracés-Ugarte is a Mexican-brazilian producer and composer. Known for founding the band Francisco, el Hombre, he traverses various Latin American musical universes. With contagious energy and moving lyrics that speak of love, politics, and life, he is known for deeply connecting with his audience wherever he goes.

48TIMER Festival

The concert is part of 48TIMER Festival – a cultural festival that turns Nørrebro inside out. The festival is supported by the Municipality of Copenhagen, Nørrebro Local Committee and the William Demant Foundation. 

48TIMER Festival is a collaboration between the Association of Blågårds Plads, Blågårds Apotek, Blågården, Union, Osramhuset and Nørrebrohallen. Graphic design: Pilat.
