Come and experience Rough Music!

Rough Music is kicking off the next season at Union on September 9 at 18.30. We’re inviting ALL of you to join us. Are you a beginner who wants to develop skills/reconnect to your instrument? Or are you an expert who wants to discover new music and new ways to play together? This ensemble is a creative space for all abilities to play and experiment, redefining traditional large music ensembles and uncovering unique arrangements of music made locally.

About Rough Music

Part orchestra, part jam band, we welcome all instruments to play together - without audition, or restrictions on musical style or background. We meet up weekly and focus on the joy of playing, and encourage people to rediscover their passion for music by creating a cosy ensemble of musicians who just wanna play!

Led by experienced musician and band leader, Josh, who will guide you through an original arrangement of a song by a talented local songwriter.

• Sheets (notated music + chords) available for all levels, in all transposing keys
• Ear learning for those who prefer to listen and repeat, and improvise!
