Kimbra Koil is a Copenhagen-based quintet that blends circular rhythmic figurations with fluid, open structures. chicotom
“chicotom” is the new non-experimental project of Chilean experimental musician Tomás Gubbins, focusing on his own songs as well as others from Southern Cone folklore. Tomas Gubbins is a Chilean guitarist, improviser and composer who has developed his work within the so-called experimental and improvised music. With a background in chamber and contemporary music, as well as jazz, Gubbins has been a restless artist who has constantly searched for sound collections and these boundaries “between music.”
